China’s official public statements on space warfare and space weapons have consistently adhered to the principle of the use of outer space for peaceful purposes and opposed to the weaponization of or an arms race in outer space.
However, since 2015, other official writings suggest China’s position on space warfare and space weapons has become more nuanced.
